EQUIMETRIC measure system

APPLICATION AREAS

The EQUIMETRIC measuring system is a software and hardware complex. Scope of application - as part of test benches (cold and/or hot running-in of gasoline and diesel engines) as a data collection and processing system.

The main functions of the EQUIMETRIC measuring system:

·        testing for open and short circuits of sensor circuits. Polling of sensors installed on the tested internal combustion engine (polling frequency up to 50 kHz):

crankshaft position sensor;

camshaft position sensor;

EGR valve position sensor;

air valve position sensor;

pressure sensors in the fuel ramp;

fuel ramp pressure switch;

oil pressure sensor;

air temperature sensor;

oil temperature sensor;

fuel temperature sensor (if available);

exhaust gas temperature sensor;

air flow sensor;

fuel consumption sensor (if available);

torque measurement sensor, "balance of moments" test for cylinders;

the sensor measures the engine speed.

·        testing for open or short circuit of control circuits of actuators and components of the internal combustion engine. Checking the operability of actuators and components installed on the tested internal combustion engine:

Testing of glow plugs or heating coils;

Testing of the EGR valve;

Testing the air valve;

Fuel injection pump testing;

Testing of injectors.

·         vibroacoustic analysis of components and assemblies of the tested internal combustion engine;

·         analysis of the received data, plotting, output of ICE test results (OK/NOK);

·         visualization of the parameters and condition of the test bench during the run-in and testing of the internal combustion engine;

·         control of the ICE running-in and testing processes (test steps), communication with the programmable logic controller of the stand;

·          formation of the final report with the provision of information on the suitability or unsuitability of the tested internal combustion engine.
