    APPLICATION AREAS

    Automated run-in stands are used for hot running-in and life tests of automotive gasoline or diesel internal combustion engines (ICE).

     

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE STANDS:

    • Carrying out tests of the engine under load in various modes simulating the load on the engine in conditions of suburban and urban vehicle traffic with programmable 30 phases of engine loading in one cycle. Torque measurement in all operating modes.
    • Automatic control of the nodes and mechanisms of the stand according to a given cycle algorithm.
    • Measurement and recording of equipment operation parameters.
    • Measurement and recording of internal combustion engine operation parameters (including those read from the ECU via the CAN bus): load, temperatures, pressures, air consumption, exhaust gas consumption, composition and concentration of exhaust gas components, optical density of exhaust gases, vibroacoustic analysis, fuel consumption, etc.
    • Self-testing and diagnostics of the automated control system when turned on.
    • The presence of external engine and engine oil cooling systems.
    • The presence of a low-pressure fuel system, including a fuel tank, which provides a fuel reserve for 200 hours of operation.
    • Construction of graphs of transients, issuance of a detailed final report.
    • Automatic shutdown of the stand equipment in case of emergency situations during the operation of the stand.
    • The possibility of recovering electrical energy into the enterprise's network during the operation of the stand.
    • Remote diagnostics of the stand equipment.

     

    THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF THE STAND:

    • Executive systems and mechanisms. They consist of a closed/open housing, a load-bearing electric machine, an internal combustion engine basing system, shaft speed sensors, torque sensors, pneumatic cylinders for moving and fixing mechanisms, quick-detachable adapters for connecting various internal combustion engine systems.
    • Control cabinet, power cabinet. It is a complex of interconnected electrical cabinets containing elements of protection, switching and control of electric motors of the stand, as well as power distribution systems between the main consumers of the stand.
    • The control panel is on the lever system.
    • Specialized pallets for basing and connecting ICE test subjects.
    • Vibroacoustic analysis system*.
    • Operator's workplace (server) with a special hardware and software package "Equimetric".
